We collect information in several ways depending on how you interact with us.
Information You Provide to Us
When you place or attempt to place an order, contact us, sign up for communications, submit footage, or otherwise interact with our Services, we may collect information such as:

5. WEDDING FOOTAGE, VIDEO, AUDIO, AND PHOTOGRAPHS
Because our Services involve wedding and event recordings, we treat Customer Footage differently from ordinary website information.
Ownership of Your Footage
You retain your ownership rights in the original video, audio, photographs, and other content recorded by you or submitted to us (“Customer Footage”).
Providing Customer Footage to YPWV does not transfer ownership of that footage to us.
How We Use Customer Footage
By submitting or returning Customer Footage to us, you give YPWV permission to access, copy, transfer, convert, store, back up, process, organize, and edit the footage as reasonably necessary to provide the Services you purchased.
For example, we may transfer recordings from cameras or storage media, upload files to secure storage services, provide footage to authorized editors or contractors working on your project, create backup copies, and use footage to create your finished wedding video.
Marketing and Social Media
By using our services and submitting audio and video files to us, you grant YPWV a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the content in any way we see fit. This content may be used for marketing purposes including but not limited to: social media, paid online advertising, tv, and print.
If you would like us to refrain from using your footage for marketing purposes, please email us to request that your footage be kept private.
Other People Appearing in Your Footage
Your wedding or event footage may contain images, voices, or other information relating to guests, family members, wedding-party members, vendors, venue employees, and other individuals.
You are responsible for determining whether permission is necessary to record or submit footage containing those individuals.
6. FOOTAGE STORAGE AND RETENTION
We may temporarily store Customer Footage using computers, storage devices, cloud-storage platforms, file-transfer services, editing systems, or other technology reasonably necessary to provide our Services.
We take reasonable precautions when handling Customer Footage, but no electronic-storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure or immune from technical failure.
You should download and independently back up all completed videos and other files delivered to you.
Unless we agree otherwise in writing, we may permanently delete raw Customer Footage, project files, backup files, and related materials six months after delivery of your completed project.
After this period, we do not guarantee that Customer Footage or project files will remain available or recoverable.
7. HOW WE SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION
We do not disclose Personal Information simply for others to use however they choose.
We may share information with service providers that help us operate our business and provide the Services you request.
These may include companies that provide:
Website hosting and e-commerce services;
Payment processing;
Shipping and delivery;
Cloud storage and file transfer;
Video editing and post-production;
Email or customer communications;
Business software;
Fraud prevention;
Website analytics; and
Advertising or marketing services.

Editors and Contractors

When an editor or contractor needs access to Customer Footage to complete your project, we may provide the access reasonably necessary for that work.
We expect individuals working on behalf of YPWV to appropriately handle Customer Footage and confidential customer information.

Comply with applicable law or regulation;
Respond to a subpoena, court order, warrant, or other valid legal process;
Protect the rights, property, or safety of YPWV, our customers, or others;

Business Transfers

Order and transaction records may therefore be retained longer than Customer Footage.
Customer Footage is subject to the retention practices described in Section 6.

We take reasonable administrative, organizational, and technical measures designed to protect Personal Information and Customer Footage against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no website, electronic transmission, cloud-storage system, database, or other method of storing information can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for protecting passwords, download links, and other credentials provided to you and for notifying us if you believe your account or information has been compromised.
